The OTC DT-ARC 500 dual servo-controlled head and tailstock positioning cell is designed for medium and large size parts. The two-station configuration allows the operator to prepare work on station 1 while the robot welds on station 2.

Mechanical Configuration

• Servo controlled 500kg headstock positioners.
• Manual arc flash safety curtain at individual operator stations.
• Arc flash curtain for cross station protection .
• Maximum payload is 500kg (1100lb) per side (see positioner CG specifications for actual load distribution and offset criteria).
• Maximum allowable inertia moment is 490 Nm.
• Maintenance access door with safety interlock on LH side of cell.
• Leveling feet for stable installation.
• Safety fence enclosure with arc flash protection curtains.
• Safety-switching assembly on individual headstocks for position monitoring and operator safety.
• Zone Kit on robot first sweeping axis for safety.
• Three part base connected with tie bars.
